Marge grew up in a Christian family on a farm in Indiana. She has an MA in Education from University of Illinois and is now retired from teaching Business at Willowbrook High School in Villa Park, IL. She likes to read, work with computers and travel as much as possible. Marge’s excitement in ministry comes from using her organizational skills to help touch as many lives as possible with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

After a life of searching for meaning and trying to find it my own way, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at age 38. God, true to His word, has and is transforming me by His grace and mercy of which I am forever grateful!
In 2006, I was hired as office manager of West Chicago Bible Church and stayed on after the merge with Water's Edge Church. My position here is a good mixture for my desire to help people and my love of organizing. (Yes, I know there is help available for that particular disorder.) My desire to help people in the hardships of life led me to obtain my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at Wheaton College. Since then I have earned my LPC and also work part-time as a counselor.
I was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and have enjoyed living in Arizona, Colorado and Illinois. My preference is warm weather (I love summer!) but I also love the changing of seasons. When I was a child, my family traveled many of the 48 states, mostly west, and I developed a love for traveling. Twice I visited England with my mom which is where she was born. What great trips! Opportunities to see her homeland with her! I have also traveled to Malta, Tunisia, Canada & Mexico--all very different culturally! I would love to some day do walking tours of England/UK and Israel. In a perfect world I would travel with a few friends meeting people, sharing life, and hearing their stories. I also love nature, gardening, and reading.
