Children's Ministries Director
My position as Children’s Ministries Director here at Water’s Edge is a true blessing and privilege. I am so grateful that God has called me here at this time. Like all who are saved by grace, I have a passion for God’s holy inspired Word and a desire to teach and share that with our children. My goal every week, through God’s strength and power, is to create a love for Jesus and his church of believers. I feel parent connection and involvement in our young children’s faith, teaching through example, and providing opportunity to develop a servant attitude are invaluable to our families. All of this begins with thankfulness for the hope that we have, but did not earn.
I was born and raised near Dubuque, Iowa in a small farm community. After graduating from Northern Illinois University, I married my husband Dave, and we currently live in Bartlett with our two daughters. My daily priority is to be a wife and mother who is obedient to God’s high calling in these areas.
I have a heart for helping families raise children who will follow the Lord, and I have worked in this area of ministry for several years. My passions include the spiritual disciplines, long walks, and time with family and friends. I am so excited to see how God will transform each family, and I will continue to pray for each little one here!
