What is a Bible church?
We are an independent church that does not belong to any particular denomination. Including "Bible" in our name simply reflects our belief that the Bible is God's word and is therefore THE guiding document for our church. We strive to accurately study, teach and live out God's word in order to be the people and the church God wants us to be.
What organizations are you affiliated with?
We are an independent, non-denominational church. We are also proud supporters of Evangelical Child & Family Agency, Wayside Cross Rescue Mission, and Ugandan Orphanage Relief Fund.
What should I expect when I visit your church?
You should expect a warm welcome at the door, friendly people and a casual atmosphere. Our church is made up of a diverse group of people ranging in age, income and ethnicity. There is definitely a place for you!

What should I wear?
At Water's Edge we have a "come as you are" mentality. Some people dress up while others choose to relax in jeans or shorts. Others choose kind of the "business casual" look. We want you to wear whatever you are comfortable in. Church is not a place where we should have to worry about what to wear. Just come as you are!
What type of music do you play?
We have a contemporary style of music at our service. Our worship band does a great job of leading us in both modern praise songs as well as traditional hymns done in non-traditional ways.
Can I come if I am not a Christian?
Absolutely! At Water's Edge you are welcome to come and explore the claims of Christ in a non-judgemental environment.
How can I have a relationship with Jesus Christ?
The Bible says that if you "confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved." That means a person must first recognize their need for a savior by confessing that they are a sinner. Second, a person must believe in Jesus, that His death paid the penalty for their sin and that His resurrection guarantees their eternity in heaven. Why is your church named Water's Edge Bible Church?
The idea behind the name is two-fold. The nation of Israel gathered at the Jordan River before entering the Promised Land, standing at the water’s edge in anticipation of what God would do. So standing at the water’s edge evokes an attitude of anticipation. Secondly, as a church, we are inviting people to drink the living water that only Christ can provide. He told the woman at the well in John 4:14, “Whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst.” Coming to church is like coming to the water’s edge and being invited to drink of the living water Christ offers each of us. The value of having Bible in the name is that it lets people know that we have a strong commitment to God’s Word. The Scriptures are the foundation upon which our church is built, and we know the truth of His Word stands forever.
